Plate Tectonics

 We did an expeiment to learn about plate tectonics and how the movement of the plates help shape New Zealand .Here are some photos from my experiment. Can you guess what we used for our materials?

Shore plover

For term one we were focusing on extinct birds. My extinct bird was the shore plover here is my work I hope you enjoy. 

The PECO Incident

In term one we read a book called The Peco Incident. The story is about two kids Nick and Daniel how sneak into a fame and take pictures of the farm and get in a lot of trouble. I did the task to make an animation about the story. Here is mine. I hope you enjoy.

Rhyming Couplets

In term two we did rhyming couplets. Rhyming couplets are a poem that has two lines and the last words on each line has two rhyme. We did rhyming couplets about Matariki. Here is mine I hope you enjoy. 

chicken Divas

In term one we read a book called Whitney and Britney Chicken Divas and we got to draw a chicken, then colour it in. After that we cut it out then put a coloured paper behind it, then we got to decorate it and put it on the wall. Here is minehttps://docs.google.com/drawings

Maths

In term one, week 10 we did our 2xtables, 5xtables, 10xtables, 3xtables, 4xtables, 6xtables, 8xtables, 9xtables and 7xtables. I got all the answers right but I was to slow with some. We get 5 seconds. If you don't answer correct in 5 seconds you don't get the answer right. It means we still need to practise and be able to answer them instantly.
